Sunday 5th Oct is cancelled due to the yellow wind warning and the closure of Abney Park until safety checks are carried out.
Join us for an opportunity to view inside the newly restored Chapel.
At midday, Abney Park Trust will host a 30 minute long talk, giving an insight into the history of the Chapel, with the opportunity ask questions, and also to explore and to photograph the interior.
If you just want a chance to see the interior of the chapel, please feel free to drop in. (Please try to avoid the timing of the talk.)
We would like to gather stories from local people about their memories of the Chapel - come and share yours with us.
Information about Abney Park Trust will also be available on the day, including a wide range of volunteering opportunities.
Because Abney can get quite muddy in winter, we would request no dogs in the chapel.
Toilets and baby changing facilities available.
Access Information:
Service dogs on leads are welcome.
Accompanying carers welcome.
There is ramp access at Church Street entrance, there is level access at the Stoke Newington High Street entrance.
