Abney Park Spring Family Trail

  • Abney Park Trust Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 0LH United Kingdom (map)

Join this Family Activity Walk to explore the animals past and present associated with Abney Park this Springtime. Learn about the animal history of the park while playing games and making crafts.

Highlights:
Meet the Bostock Lion - and learn how to walk quietly using your Foxes Feet so as not to wake him up!
Visit a monument to Bees, the busiest of all animals in the park.
Learn about and listen to the park’s birds, while cuddling some cute RSPB bird toys. Tweet like a Robin, Sparrow, Blue Tit or Jay.
Take a break at the War Memorial, and make an all natural bird feeder to hang in the park or take home, using apples, seeds, twine and twigs.
Finally make like a squirrel and find the pine cones hidden in the park!

This session is run by Never Tired Of London and Hackney Outdoors.
Tickets are £15 per child & accompanying adult.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Perfect for children aged 5-10

Please meet at the Commonwealth War Memorial at the centre of the park, near the chapel (NOT the Civilian War Memorial near Church Street). The Stoke Newington High Street entrance will be closed, so please use the Church Street entrance.
