Join us in the garden and community room for a free nature craft workshop for 4-10 year olds, accompanied by their parent/carer. You are welcome to drop in on the day, but if we're busy, we'll give priority to people who have signed up below. We'll be weaving spider webs - all materials will be provided but it you have any leftover wool you can spare, please bring this along. Our garden will be open for outdoor play and you can also explore the nature reserve to discover where the spiders are weaving their own webs.
The outdoor play area and community room are located next to the Abney Park Cafe. Follow the cobbled path from the Stoke Newington High Street entrance and you’ll see a side path to your right which leads to the garden. Please park buggies on the patio area and close the gate after you to keep the garden secure. Please enter through the same gate for the community room and remove your shoes before coming inside.
Access information : The outdoor play area is made up of a paved area, grass and woodland with bark underfoot. There are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities available in the community room. Ramp access at Church Street entrance, level access at Stoke Newington High Street entrance. The garden is a dog-free area, with the exception of service dogs on leads.
