After dark bat walk and survey at Abney Park

  • Abney Park Trust Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 0LH United Kingdom (map)

Take a walk with us around Abney to look and listen out for the bats that fly and feed in Abney Park at night.

Our guide, Angela Clare, will lead the way, sharing bat facts and showing you how to use special detectors to identify what kind of bats are flying.

Please bring your own bat detector if you have one, but we will provide some for you to use. Please dress for the weather and uneven ground. Bring a torch if you can, but we will be able to light the way when required.

Any bats we spot will be recorded for the Bat Conservation Trust's Sunset Survey - something you can do at any time in your garden or any open space. For more info on the Sunset Survey, see here
