Join Abney Park Trust’s ecology group for a night walk to encounter the bats who are just one of the many species of wildlife who reside in our nature reserve.

We will be using bat detectors to pick up bat signals as they hunt for their prey. Learn about the various species of bat we have at Abney and how we can help protect them.

Wear suitable clothing for the weather and for uneven ground. Bring a torch if you can.

Please arrive promptly at the Stoke Newington High Street entrance to Abney Park at 7.50pm for an 8pm start. As this event is happening outside park opening hours, the gate will be locked at 8pm to enable the walk to begin.

Level access at Stoke Newington High Street entrance, main paths are accessible, smaller paths can be less even and narrow. but there will be an accessible route available for this walk.
