We are delighted to continue our collaboration with The Enchanted Cinema in the Delph Room at Abney Park.
On Sunday Oct 12th, we invite all ages to become a pop-up orchestra with The Enchanted Cinema’s interactive show featuring five magical, remarkable and eccentric scenes from My Neighbour Totoro (1988) - including Catbus & Flying Sequence.
We start with a fun warm-up using our hands and voices before kids and grown-ups team up with instruments – Indian gopichand, South American butterfly charango, turtle drums, lyre harp, zaphir chimes, gong, bird flutes, ocarinas, bamboo canes and more – to create a live score to the Red Turtle's mysterious island followed by Totoro!
11 – Totoro (Interactive Cinema Event – All Ages)
1215 – join us at the front to try out instruments.
1230 - end
Please note - we kindly request shoes to be left at entrance.
