Join us on Sunday 5 July for an opportunity to view inside the newly restored Chapel. If you just want to see the inside of the Chapel, please feel free to drop in at any time between 11:00 and 13:00.
In addition at midday, Abney Park Trust are hosting a short talk about the “Abney Deaconesses”. While their title might make you think of clerical robes, or life in a cloistered community, in fact their role was complex and perilous, combining nursing, social work and Christian ministry, supporting some of the most vulnerable in London through some of the most perilous times. Found by Abney Unearthed in three adjoining plots, come to find out a little about their work, their connections to Abney and their link to one of our loved Overground Lines.
Because Abney can get quite muddy we would request no dogs in the chapel.
