Open House at the Chapel - come and see the beautifully restored Chapel and the new stained glass windows. Abney Park Trust will be projecting the ‘Women of Abney’ film (a Hackney Society and Tower Theatre production), so drop in and discover some of the key figures in Abney’s history.
Tower Theatre are also bringing to life seven of Abney’s residents in an immersive theatre tour from 11.15am-12.45pm. Pick up a map at either entrance to meet these radical and revolutionary characters as you explore the park.

Stalls from Abney Park Trust by the High Street entrance - join us to find out more about the ecology and history of Abney Park, meet our trustees and discover volunteering opportunities. You will also be able to find out more about our Abney Unearthed project, mapping the hidden histories of Abney Park.
Abney Park Cafe will be open all day, and hosting yoga sessions with Animo in the community room.
Our two makers studios will be open for visitors to drop in and engage with contemporary sustainable craft techniques. Join Wax Atelier who work with beeswax and natural materials, and CQ Studios to see how they transform food waste into textiles.
