Join us in the community room at Abney Park for seasonal paper crafting. We will have a range of crafting activities for all ages and abilities - from paper cut snowflakes, to translucent window stars and three dimensional paper decorations. We’ll be running three workshops over the day, from 2-3.30pm, 4-5.30pm (perfect for after school crafting) and 6.30-8pm. Please note, if you are arriving for the 4pm or 6.30pm sessions, you will need to join us via the side gate on Stoke Newington High Street which is to the far right of the main gates as you stand looking into the park. This will be clearly signposted on the day.
We’ll also have a table for collage card making, and we’ll be sharing techniques for making pop-up elements to add impact to your designs. Our aim is to repurpose paper as much as possible, so please bring your old magazines or scrap paper to upcycle for the holiday season!
All other materials will be provided - this event is free for everyone, with the option to make a donation if you can. All donations will support Abney Park Trust to cover our running costs for the workshops and provide more free community programming in the future.
