This page gives notice of the Abney Park Trust Annual General Meeting. As part of our formal governance, we produce accounts that are independently examined and an annual report. Both will be presented at the Annual General Meeting. There will also be a proposal to amend the articles of the charity. The articles form the constitution of the charity. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to support the charity in implementing a model that will encourage more people to be more engaged with the park and generally make the job of operating the charity in line with its constitution easier.
The event will be hosted online and is free. An agenda, copy of the accounts, copy of last year's AGM minutes, a copy of the current articles, the proposed resolution making the changes and call joining link are available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1iysZQpitc1BvDviutzsaa39TxKRNTvbh.
This year we will be reviewing the financial year 2023/24 (up until 31 March 2024). We will also update attendees on our progress over the last few months. This includes onsite events and volunteering, as well as the NLHF restoration project which is now complete. We will also provide an update on Hackney Council's Abney Unearthed project which is mapping the historic burials in the Park.
There will be a chance to ask questions about the Trust’s work.
