Abney Park is coming to the end of a major National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported restoration project that will bring new community spaces, boost biodiversity, restore the chapel and improve access.

The Abney Park Trust is proud to work with Hackney Council to protect the park for future generations – while preserving the park’s unique charm, heritage and wildlife.

The project officially launched in September 2021 and is in the final stages. The chapel is now complete, and the new spaces at the High Street entrance are very nearly ready. The park is open.
