Audio walk: Woodland networks

This audio walk is part tour of some of the veteran tree specimens in Abney Park Cemetery, but also part exploration of the unseen nonhuman networks at play in this ancient and diverse nature preserve.

Use the veteran tree map (Russell Miller, 2013) to see where all of the veteran tree specimens are in Abney Park. Whilst this walk will explore a selection of these ancient trees you are encouraged to use this map to find your own ramble.

Dr Romany Reagan created a number of audio walks as part of her PhD studies into artistic interactions with heritage sites in 2017.

We need your continued support

We’re seeking donations to help Abney Park Trust curate a series of events, audio tours and publications on Abney as part of our mission to promote Abney’s history, wildlife and role in the community. We’re also looking to raise funds for our monument restoration programme. Please support us so we can continue in the care and promotion of this beautiful space.
