Chapel Open Morning

  • Abney Park Trust Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 0LH United Kingdom (map)

Join us on Sunday 10th May for an opportunity to view inside the newly restored Chapel. If you just want to see the inside of the Chapel, please feel free to drop in at any time between 11:00 and 13:00.

In addition at midday, Abney Park Trust are hosting a 30 minute long talk, about Alice Zimmern, writer and campaigner for women’s right.

We would also like to gather stories from local people about their memories of the Chapel - come and share yours with us. Information about Abney Park Trust will also be available on the day.

On Sunday 7 June we will be giving a talk about Eric Walrond, Harlem Renaissance writer and author of Tropic Death a series of 10 short stories still in print today.

Because Abney can get quite muddy in winter, we would request no dogs in the chapel.
Toilets and baby changing facilities available.

Access Information:

Accompanying carers welcome.
There is ramp access at Church Street entrance, there is level access at the Stoke Newington High Street entrance.
