Chapel Open Morning

  • Abney Park Trust Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 0LH United Kingdom (map)

Join us on Sunday 10th May for an opportunity to view inside the newly restored Chapel. If you just want to see the inside of the Chapel, please feel free to drop in at any time between 11:00 and 13:00.

Please join us, with the opportunity ask questions, to explore and to photograph the interior of the Chapel.

We would also like to gather stories from local people about their memories of the Chapel - come and share yours with us. Information about Abney Park Trust will also be available on the day.

On Sunday 10 May, the chapel open day will be focused on celebrating 186 years since the foundation stone for the Chapel was laid in May 1840.

Because Abney can get quite muddy in winter, we would request no dogs in the chapel.
Toilets and baby changing facilities available.

Access Information:
Service dogs on leads are welcome.
Accompanying carers welcome.
There is ramp access at Church Street entrance, there is level access at the Stoke Newington High Street entrance.
The ground floor of the Chapel is fully accessible and there are accessible toilets available onsite.

This event is free - donations to support the work of Abney Park Trust are welcome.
