London Climate Action Week walking tour with Russell Miller

  • Abney Park Trust Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 0LH United Kingdom (map)

Trees and the Climate Emergency

How trees might save your life but can’t save the planet.

When it's hot Abney's woodland is cool. When it's windy Abney is calm. When it rains Abney provides shelter. Nature connection, biodiversity loss and the climate crisis are all linked.

Join Russell Miller on a guided tour of Abney Park, Hackney’s premier nature reserve, to learn about trees, carbon capture, eco system services and the rare species that live inside old trees. Russell is an ecologist, veteran tree specialist and life long activist.

This walking tour is led by Russell Miller, ecologist, tree expert and environmental activist.
