Join Katie Crabtree and Vicky Sharples for a meandering walk through Abney Park to observe the deadwood, the graves, the living/dying pathways and the ecosystem to reflect upon our mortality.
In keeping with Abney Park Cemetery’s history in radical thought, this workshop is intentioned to spark playful, joyful discussions to rethink death and dying narratives.
Facilitated by Katie and Vicky, fellow mortal beings who are interested in living and dying pathways, open discussion from all participants is welcomed.
Our focus is the organic matter that makes up all living things. Abney Park, both an urban nature reserve and burial ground, is a perfect place to observe pathways of living and dying. We will share our observations on life, death, decay, and rebirth in this workshop.
Please wear sturdy shoes.
