Zoe Pahne

Zoe is a gardener and ecology enthusiast, currently studying for a City & Guilds Level 2 in Horticulture at Walworth Garden. Before that, they worked as an arborist, where they first encountered Abney Park while delivering woodchip to the cemetery. They have loved walking there ever since. Zoe previously worked in administration and archiving at Brompton Cemetery. Having studied history, Zoe has a deep affection for Victorian cemeteries: for their architecture, culture, and the niche they fill for wildlife. They sit on the Trust's Ecology Committee and joined the Board of Trustees in May 2026.
