February Half-Term Forest School

  • Abney Park Stoke Newington High Street London, England, N16 United Kingdom (map)

Join our Forest School at Abney Park this Spring!

February marks the end of winter with the emergence of green shoots and leaves. If we are lucky at forest school, birds and other animals can be easily spotted among the still-bare branches of Abney Park's plentiful trees. We can support wildlife during the coldest month by making bird feeders and bug homes, join us during February half term for these activities as well as crafts, den-making, and fires.

Abney Park is a beautiful nature reserve in the heart of Stoke Newington. With veteran trees and an abundance of wildlife, it is a wonderful setting for our Forest School. We will explore the wonders of the forest, build dens, go on nature walks, make natural art and craft, play some fun woodland games, plus a lot more.

We will be running our holiday club for children aged 8 to 13 (ages 6-7 are able to join on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

Please bring a packed lunch, waterproof clothes and wear long sleeves and trousers and closed-toe, sturdy shoes.

Tickets/booking: £40 per day per child £190 for a full week
Ages suitable for ages 8-13 all week and ages 6 & 7 can join on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
