Join us at Abney Park Trust's 2025 AGM
As part of our formal governance, we produce accounts that are independently examined and an annual report. Both will be presented at the Annual General Meeting and can be reviewed here.
The Annual General Meeting is free to attend and will take place at 7pm on 27th November 2025, in the Harriet Delph Room, next door to the Sabel Café, Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH. Map link here.
As part of our governance, we are required to invite our members to attend. But we would also like to invite others who are interested in the Trust’s work to come and hear more about what we have done this year and what we plan to do over the next 12 months.
For fire safety reasons, we have capacity for 40. We would therefore be grateful if you would register to let us know if you wish to attend using this TicketTailor page. If you do register but your plans change, please let us know by email to info@abneypark.org. If more people register than the room’s capacity then priority to attend in person will be given to members and we will hold the meeting as a hybrid meeting. We'll provide a video link accordingly so that everyone who has registered in advance, members and others can attend.
The agenda, minutes of the last meeting and a copy of the annual accounts are available here.
The formal business of the meeting will be:
· the appointment of our new Treasurer, Alex Sargent. We are excited that Alex is joining the board and you can read about his experience and why he wants to be a trustee here
· the appointment of Independent Examiners Limited to review our financial statements for 2025/26
· the receipt by the meeting of the accounts and annual report.
In addition there will be presentations about what we have done in the last year, our plans for next year and beyond and the work of Abney Unearthed.
Please join us if you can to find out more about what we do and support our work.
Please note that a member of the Trust is entitled to appoint another person as their proxy to exercise all or any of their rights to attend and to speak and vote at the AGM. If you want to do so please send a written notice, setting out your name and the name of the person you wish to appoint as proxy to: info@abneypark.org
The main High Street gates to the park will be closed at the time of this meeting. Please go to the right of the High Street gates (as you face them) and enter via the gate at the side of the lodge/cafe building. This evening-only access route to the Harriet Delph Room is accessible to wheelchair users.
