Joseph Jackson Fuller was a missionary, preacher, and translator. Born into an enslaved family, in Jamaica, he spent over 30 years as a missionary in West Africa before eventually settling in Stoke Newington. A skilled orator and translator, his speeches attracted thousands and he translated A Pilgrims Progress.
