Keep walking through...

Abney Park is an amazing precious space of urban peace and tranquillity in these troubling times. Read why Aisling O'Leary, travel writer for the Telegraph, is escaping to Abney Park during her London lockdown.

Why we need your help

While Hackney Council runs the park, the independent charity Abney Park Trust promotes the park's history, wildlife and role in the community. The Trust employs two part time members of staff. As a result of the spread of COVID-19, Abney Park Trust has cancelled all of its walking tours and events, closed its visitor centre and suspended in person grave searches. We need to raise money to ensure the future of the Trust can be sustained. We are concerned for our survival.

We are left with no alternative but to ask for your help. Please donate whatever you can to help Abney Park Trust continue in their role as curators of this beautiful space. Any amount, no matter how small, will genuinely make a difference to our survival.
