Join us in the community room and garden next to the cafe for family crafts activities to celebrate Birdwatch weekend. We’ll be upcycling felt scraps to create a bird finger puppet to take home.

We’ll also have art materials available for you to make and decorate your own bird from upcycled paper, with books about British birds for inspiration!

The crafting is suitable for children aged 5+, accompanied by their parent/carer. We’ll have a play area for younger siblings, with buggy parking in the garden and baby changing facilities inside. Dogs are welcome in Abney Park, but the garden and community room are dog free areas for this workshop..

Access information: The High Street entrance has level access, next to the cafe and community room which have automatic doors and accessible facilities. The Church Street entrance has ramp access.
