How we remember the war dead
This talk was given on Thursday 12 Nov 2020
In this talk Alan looks into the immaculate aesthetic of cemeteries of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. In doing this, the talk unpacks the history of war grave arrangement, discussing how it has changed over time and the cause of these changes. As part of this talk we honour the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and those buried in Abney.
Abney Park Trust hosts this event to commemorate those lost during war. We are very grateful for any size donation you could contribute to allow the Trust to continue hosting events like these.
