Remote grave visits & remembrance service

Abney Park is an amazing and precious space of urban peace and tranquillity. It remains open at this time to give people a place to enjoy fresh air and exercise whilst enjoying beautiful scenery and birdsong.

Now more than ever, it's community value shines out. But we know that not all friends and family of the bereaved will be able to visit to tend graves or commemorate lost loved ones. Abney Park Trust is offering a remote grave visits & remembrance service for anyone unable to attend the park.

Many people across Hackney, London and the world come to remember loved ones on anniversary, birthdays and special dates and this hasn't changed during the lockdown period.

We are offering flower drops, a moment of quiet reflection on your behalf and a photograph of the grave emailed to you. We won't charge for this service apart from the cost of any flowers. But we would welcome any donations to support our fundraising efforts.

If you would like us to attend a grave, please get in touch with us at info@abneypark.org
