Colin Sell Presents 'Your Own, Your Very Own' - Abney Park's Music Hall Stars

 

We are pleased to host a recording of 'Your Own, Your Very Own', a documentary detailing the life and times of the music hall stars buried in Abney Park, presented by Colin Sell, of Radio 4's Sorry I Haven't A Clue.

The 45 minute documentary, also featuring Barry Cryer, goes into the stories behind such stars as George Leybourne, Fred Albert, Nellie Power, Walter Laburnum and many more.

Biography: Colin Sell

Colin Sell has been a Stoke Newington resident for 40 years. He works as a composer and musical director and has taught singing and film studies extensively in drama colleges. He has also been the pianist for many music hall shows, is a regular accompanist for silent films, and is the long-suffering pianist on Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.
