The Tottenham Outrage

This January marks the 112th year since the Tottenham Outrage. To commemorate this, Abney Park Trust hosted a virtual walking tour of the park presented by Alan Gartrell.

The online talk focuses on the context of the Outrage and reveals Abney Park's links to the event.

The Tottenham Outrage was a two-hour police chase through North London that occurred after a bank robbery. We'll be holding our talk two days before the anniversary of the event and a week before the anniversary of the funeral of the two victims of the Outrage: Police Constable William Tyler and Ralph Joscelyne, a young boy, who were both laid to rest in Abney Park.
