The Abney Unearthed project is pleased to be included in Hackney History Month, and have created an exhibition that is being hosted by Hackney Archives. Displays include a project overview, a brief history of Abney Park, plot maps and stories of just some of the fascinating figures who lived and worked in Hackney. Visit to discover more.
We invite all ages to go wild with The Enchanted Cinema’s interactive show – Ghibli’s Forest. We invite you to celebrate our launch with our Garden Band & a special performance by multi-instrumentalist Kieron Chissik from The Enchanted Cinema on viola, guitar, keyboard & immersive sound instruments, accompanying a visual tapestry of underwater footage and graphic illustrations.
Open air theatre in the enclosed garden returns to Abney Park, with Moving Part’s production of ‘Vanity Fair’ - a giddy carousel of social climbers, buffoons and preening dandies. In a world of gossip and speculation, where scandal and celebrity can turn on a sixpence, we follow the twisting fortunes of Becky Sharp and Amelia Sedley.
